TIMBER RATTLERS GAME

Brenda, Ed, Traci and the birthday Mom - Bonnie

No sausages here ~ eyeballs racing!  It was quite the site!

FANG ~ the mascot, hammed it up through the entire game!

Enjoying the game/actually talking throughout the game!
A great day for my sister's birthday.

A beautiful day for a baseball game.
Swing batter, batter, batter, batter...
The sun was out, the company was good, the picnic prior to the game was delicious!  It was my sister's birthday and it didn't rain until the end of the game ~ for this summer that was amazing!

COLLECTOR OF" STUFF" ON LAKE DRIVE IN MILWAUKEE

This is real...viewed on someone's yard in Cudahy, WI. I took the pictures late in the evening, so most are yellowish. Why the shark turned out---who knows?
From what I've read the owner just wanted to make Cudahy fun again.

My sister and I certainly enjoyed his yard.
A car buried in the front yard, propane tanks turned into cute little pigs, a shark greeting you as you turn into the garage ----
what more could a person want?

A mannequin rides a motorcycle — reportedly the first piece of what has become a large and unusual display in the Cudahy yard of Rick Serocki at 4531 S Lake Dr.

Always visitors on the back deck!
Mickey D would be proud.
How about a snowmobiler, year 'round next to your house?
Couldn't live without a skull, as tall as me, on the side of the house!
Oh, how about Big Boy on your roof?
Looking for a fun place to drive by? Look no further than

AN ARTIST ~ AT THE END OF A DEAD END ROAD

                SPECTACULAR SCULPTURES
What my sister and I found at the end of a dead end road was amazing!  We decided to take the day, set the GPS and follow it to Colgate, WI.
Why?  Well, one Sunday morning I was watching Outdoor Wisconsin and was fascinated by a place in Colgate, WI.
         Paul Bobrowitz, Jr.-Metal Sculptor
The show proved to be right/this artist has created a spectacular world of sculpting/in his own yard.
We totally enjoyed ourselves ~ driving through his creations ~ taking pictures ~ oohing and aahing at each and every turn of the head.

Some of the sculptures are comical.
           Some of them are abstract.

RIVEREDGE NATURE CENTER

Riveredge Nature         Center
Upon entering the grounds it is any other nature center. Parking, signs -directing visitors here or there.
Walking up the wooden sidewalk it becomes a little different.  Strolling back to see what it's all about~it's become different. The building is large, attractive and inviting, with the expansive deck  having a multitude of chairs to relax on. This all, overlooking the river, boasting gorgeous lily pads, birds of various species, a martin house and lovely
wild flowers, of many kinds.

Even though it rained shortly after we arrived at the Center, it was very pleasant.
We sat on the deck enjoying the afternoon and the view of 'Mother Natures' creations in front of us.

I will return to the Center to view the displays inside, as it was closed when we were there. Peering through the windows there seem to be some very educational exhibits.  In fact, this week will be the perfect time to return. Now~which day will be best?

Postscript to this blog:
I had to search and purchase a new laptop, as my old, trusty Thinkpad was having mega problems.
I have not posted for some time/as the old computer would no longer upload photos and the new one had me baffled as to how to post.
I'm taking lessons and learning a lot! I still need to explore all there is with this new system. Moving from one system to another is certainly an adventure!
